From Tokyo to Nageen: A Japanese Traveller’s Kashmir Diary

In April 2022, we had the pleasure of welcoming Kome — an India-based travel writer behind the blog Chankome — to Lily of Nageen. She was on a journey through some of India’s most distinctive heritage properties, and chose to stay with us on Nageen Lake as part of her North India travels.

Kome later wrote a detailed piece featuring her time on the houseboat, including the history of houseboats in Kashmir, life on the water, and conversations with her hosts. We’re delighted to share her thoughtful account with future guests who’d like to see what a stay with us looks like through a visitor’s eyes. You can read Kome’s full post here: 2022年上半期、インドのヘリテージホテル滞在に精を出す(前編).
